With special guest presenters Dr. Lloyd Lee, Polly Khiv and Michael Long:
Dr. Lloyd Lee has been in the psychiatry field since 2001. Dr. Lee is currently in his Psychiatry fellowship at Los Angeles County Harbor UCLA Medical Center and is working for Memorial Counseling Associates following Mentally Ill and Developmentally Disabled patients at numerous Board and Care’s. Dr. Lee has written lectures and presentations on Developmental Delays by Adolescent Onset Substance Abuse, Evidence Based Effective Psychotherapy for Social Phobia, Post Stroke Depression and Multidisciplinary Mental Health Approach to Post MI Management. Dr. Lee is affiliated with American Psychiatric Association and Arizona Psychiatric Society. Dr. Lee is very dedicated to patient care and is extremely fun loving, having personal interests in Tae Kwon Do, Jiu Jitsu, Professional Theater, Improv Comedy and Standup Comedy.
Polly Khiv currently works as a life coach at the ROADS Center in Bellflower. As a life coach, Polly assists individuals with coordination of psychiatric and medical care along with providing supportive services. Polly began her career with Memorial Counseling Associates as a receptionist during her undergraduate education and she received a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology. She has been working with those suffering from mental illness for ten years, life coaching for the latter three years.
Michael Long is licensed as a Psychiatric Technician since 2009. He began working in the field of mental health at Coalinga State Hospital, one of California’s largest mental health facilities. Michael earned valuable experience working with a challenging population with a myriad of diagnosis including paraphilias, antisocial personality disorder, and borderline personality disorder. Michael is currently working at the ROADS Center as a Life Coach.
